DREW MARINE SIGNAL & SAFETY, NEWS RELEASE Product Manager celebrates 30 years
Drew Marine Signal & Safety’s Product and Customer Service Manager, Keith Bradford, is celebrating 30 years’ service in a role he greatly enjoys.
Keith joined the world’s leading supplier of marine distress signals, Pains Wessex, in August 1985. He previously worked as a Ships Agent for a Polish Shipping Line in London, before joining as Product Manager, where he was first tasked with upgrading the SOLAS range to new IMO specifications. Today, Keith looks after legislative and compliance issues and type approvals. He is also greatly involved with the global distributor network delivering customer service and managing the Sales Administration department.
Commenting on his impressive career history with Drew Marine Signal & Safety, Keith says, “Among the most rewarding parts of the job is working with and getting to know the well-established global distributor network. New challenges regularly occur – either product related, from the global network or from our end-users on ships – which keeps the job really interesting.”
Significant changes have occurred over the 30 year period, including working at five different locations for three owners. Particular highlights include joining forces with Comet and Drew Marine Signal & Safety’s purchase of the company from Chemring Group.
Keith continues, “We have an excellent product range which helps to save lives at sea and our company has built a strong reputation with loyal distributors. I’m pleased to have contributed to our significant growth and success over the years – and long may it continue as we obviously have a ‘flare’ for the job!”
